Tailor-made Copper creations

Hello, many know me as Vince, the local plumber for over 25 years, and for the past 10 years, a local Copper but hopefully from now, you will also know me as....‘The Copper Workshop’.

When Covid-19 hit and we all got locked down, a welcome escape was needed and for me, a creative force pulled me back to working with copper. 

In the past, as a plumber, my relationship with copper had obviously been very different but due to there being very little choice for the type of unique creative product we wanted for our garden, an interest in copper fabrication was reignited. With some spare time on my hands, I decided to make the bespoke copper fountain that we were searching for and as it turns out, it was an unexpected success. 

My previous experience and knowledge had given me the foundation and skill to work, manipulate and mould copper and with a touch of foresight and a before now unrealised creative flare for designing creations ‘The Copper Workshop’ was born. 

Project ideas began to develop and by creating other water fountains, a memory tree, other garden ornamental features, and now military aircraft models, I found it gave me enjoyment and a way to destress from my regular job too.

Having produced various items in copper and having them reviewed by family and friends, I received a lot of great feedback and on hearing the positive comments and encouragement I decided to sell my handmade bespoke creations. My hope is that the creations I make will give my customers as much enjoyment seeing them around their home and garden as I receive when creating them.

2024 is going great for “The Copper Workshop” and having completed a new building/workshop to give me a better area for customers to come and see my work, I may be soon doing craft classes for people to come and try making their own items.......so keep a look out for "The Copper Workshop”.
